2023 Winter Update

Like last year, we entered 2023 in the middle of our annual fundraiser. With the help of many of you and some board contribution, we were able to raise $87,575. I am also happy to report that we secured a $30,000 grant from the City of Boston Youth Development Fund! These funds will help us continue to support our existing participants on and off the court as well as bring on a few more youth this year. ABF now has nine boys in full participation playing at six different tennis clubs in Boston and the surrounding area. We have kids at Sportsmen’s Tennis and Enrichment Center, Weymouth Club, Dedham Health & Athletic Complex, Bass River Tennis Club, Woburn Racquet Club, and Longwood Cricket Club. Our partnerships are growing and the idea is to make it as accessible and convenient to get our boys on the tennis court as much as possible. A few ABF boys are gearing up for school tennis this spring and for some it will be their first time playing tennis for a team.
